Mintz Levin Elects Next Firm Leader
Robert Bodian, a litigator who currently heads Mintz Levin's New York office, takes over at the firm on July 1. It marks the first time a partner outside the firm's Boston home base will assume the leadership position.

Can Stubborn Bondholders Delay a Chrysler Rebirth?
On the surface, Chrysler appears to face a major obstacle as it tries to emerge from bankruptcy in two months or less: the recalcitrant bondholders who refused to take $2.25 billion in cash in exchange for retiring $6.9 billion in debt. And Now It's Official: Jones Day Advising on Chrysler Bankruptcy
Five months after we first suggested the firm was on the case, Jones Day today confirmed its role in advising Chrysler on its restructuring efforts. The confirmation comes via the automaker's 24-page bankruptcy filing in Manhattan earlier this afternoon. A 30-lawyer team from the firm is advising Chrysler on the matter along with lawyers from New York bankruptcy boutique Togut, Segal & Segal.

Police are investigating a suicide at Kilpatrick Stockton in Washington, D.C. Sources tell Am Law Daily sibling publication Legal Times that the lawyer is Mark Levy, head of the firm's Supreme Court and Appellate Litigation Group.
